How It Works · The Full Guide

You bring yourself.
We set the table.

No apps to swipe, no forms to agonise over, no name badges. Credits reserve your seat at a proper restaurant table with people you haven't met yet — here's exactly how it all works, start to finish.

First, The Idea

Dinner, deliberately

Making real connections as an adult is hard because life gets in the way. Somewhere along the road we lost the natural spaces where friendships used to happen — so we rebuilt one, around the oldest social ritual there is: eating together.

Each dinner brings a small group of people who haven't met before to a great local restaurant, with a host to smooth the introductions. That's it. That's the whole trick.

What It Is

  • A hosted table at a hand-picked local restaurant
  • Small groups — everyone actually gets to talk
  • Regular dinners, so faces become familiar
  • Turn-up-and-relax simple: we handle the awkward bits

What It Isn't

  • A dating event — friendships only, zero agenda
  • Networking — no name badges, no pitches
  • A club with a joining fee — signing up is free
  • A big rowdy night out — think long dinner, not loud bar

no pressure. promise.

05

Turn up hungry

No tickets, no QR codes — we've got your booking. Your host greets you, makes the introductions, and the evening takes care of itself.

On The Night

What actually happens

Before you go

Your confirmation email has the lot: date, time, venue and their contact details. Dietary requirements? Drop the restaurant a line ahead of the evening — they're used to it.

Walking in

No ticket to flash — just give your name. Your host is already there and you'll be shown straight to the table.

The first twenty minutes

Introductions are made for you, and there are conversation cards on hand if the table fancies a nudge. Honestly though — the awkwardness melts quicker than the butter.

Dinner itself

Order food and drinks straight from the menu and settle up with the venue, exactly as you would on any other night out. Credits only ever cover your seat.

Winding down

Dinners tend to run two to three hours. Swap numbers with the people you clicked with — plenty of our regulars now meet up between events.

The Money Bit

Credits, minus
the small print

We designed the credit system to be fair, flexible and frustration-free. No sneaky fees, no pressure — just a simple way to hold your seat at the table.

£1 a credit

Flat and simple, with better value when you buy packs. You always know what a seat costs.

They never expire

Buy now, dine whenever. Your balance rolls on until you're ready to use it.

Your seat, covered

Credits reserve your place at the table. Food and drink are yours to order and pay at the venue.

Plus ones welcome

Add extra seats to your booking with extra credits — the more the merrier.

psst —already a member? Share the referral code on your profile page: when a friend signs up with it and comes to their first dinner, you both earn bonus credits.
